Attorneys:

Mr. Awad is a general business and civil litigation attorney focusing on entertainment law, commercial law, complex matrimonial law, Islamic law and international law. He provides legal and business advice to many entertainment companies and talent based in the Middle East.
Mr. Awad is a graduate of Saint Peter’s College, Jersey City, New Jersey, in Political Science. In addition to his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Awad holds an M.A. in Near and Middle East Studies, from the University of London, and a Certificate in Comparative Law also from the University of London. Mr. Awad was a Managing Editor on Pace International Law Review and has published extensively on different areas of the law in various publications including the New Jersey Law Journal, Matrimonial Strategist, the Journal of the Legal Profession, Middle East Executive Reports, among others. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Awad was the Law Clerk for the HONORABLE GEORGE E. SABBATH of the New Jersey Superior Court. Mr. Awad is an Adjunct Law Professor at Rutgers Law School, Newark. He teaches two courses: (1) Islamic Jurisprudence; (2) Matrimonial Litigation.
Mr. Awad was selected as one of ten Lawyers of the Year 2002 by the LAWYERS WEEKLY (USA) for his ground breaking decision enforcing the mahr provision contained in a Muslim marriage contract. Mr. Awad is Board Member, KARAMAH - Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights. Mr. Awad is also very active politically in the Arab American Community. He is a member of the Arab American Institute and is the co-Chair of the Arab American Democratic Caucus (NJ). Mr. Awad was a member of the Affirmative Action Delegate Selection Committee of the New Jersey State Democratic Party. Mr. Awad was also appointed to the New Jersey Electoral College 2004. Mr. Awad is also a frequent public speaker at bar associations, universities, conventions, and political events. He lectures throughout the United States and abroad on subjects ranging from law, politics, gender, religion to culture. Mr. Awad has appeared on numerous television channels including ABC, CNNfn, Al-Jazeera, Al-Qataria and Al-Arabia. Mr. Awad was the weekly democratic commentator on American politics for Al-Jazeera from January 2004 through November 3, 2004. Mr. Awad has been quoted in numerous American newspapers, including the Washington Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Star Ledger, Herald News, Bergen Record, Village Voice, New Jersey Law Journal, Chicago Lawyer, ABA Law Student Magazine, Variety, Hollywood Report, Screen International, among others.

ZAMIR IOSEPOVICI, Esq. graduated with a BS degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and with a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law. Before entering private practice, Mr. Iosepovici worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the State of New York. He is a member of the Bars of the State of New York and of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers' Association and a member of the Federal Bars of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and of the Eastern District of Michigan.

ROBERT POPESCU, Esq. graduated with a BA degree from Montclair State University cum laude. Mr. Popescu received his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.He is a member of the bars of the State of New York, the State of New Jersey and of the District of Columbia.
Mr. Popescu also holds membership in the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Bars of the United States District Courts for the District of NewJersey, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of Michigan. He is also a member of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals (New York, Connecticut, Vermont), the Third Circuit Court of Appeals (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, the Virgin Islands) and of the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Popescu is an adjunct professor of law at Rutgers University School of Law, Newark, New Jersey, where he teaches litigation.
Mr. Popescu is a frequent legal commentator for various Romanian language media outlets, including BBC, London. He has contributed legal articles for several publications, including the New Jersey Law Journal. Mr. Popescu was also named and acted as President of the New York Electoral Commission for the Romanian presidential and parliamentary elections.
Kenneth F. D’Amato received his undergraduate degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey in 1987. Mr. D’Amato graduated from Stevens Institute receiving a Bachelor of Engineering degree, with a major in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design.
Upon graduation from Stevens Institute, Mr. D’Amato attended Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, New Jersey. At Seton Hall, Mr. D’Amato was an associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. Mr. D’Amato received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1990, Magna Cum Laude, achieving a class rank of 5 out of 410 graduating law students.
Upon graduation form Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. D’Amato served as a law secretary to the Honorable Arthur J. Lesemann, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity Part, Bergen County, New Jersey.
Since 1991, Mr. D’Amato has devoted his practice to the representation of victims injured through the negligent acts of others-including automobile collisions , fall down accidents from dangerous conditions of property such as snow, ice and improper design, defectively designed or manufactured machines, unguarded nip points, and negligent medical and surgical treatment. Mr. D’Amato has achieved numerous six and seven-figure verdicts and settlements in the courts of Northern New Jersey.
Mr. D’Amato is admitted to practice law in the State of new Jersey, and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has served as a barrister in the Justice Robert L. Clifford American Inn of Court, and as a member investigator of the District XI Ethics Committee.
